Duty class is the decision that matters
The most common failure we are called to look at is a crane specified one duty class too low for the work it ended up doing. A crane sized for M4 that runs an M7 cycle does not fail immediately — it wears its wheels, gearboxes and rope early, and the cost lands three years later as unplanned downtime in the middle of a season. We would rather ask what your actual cycle looks like before quoting than sell you the crane that wins on price and loses on availability.
